Terms of Use
Effective July 18, 2026
These terms govern your use of Sortwave. By using the app, you agree to these terms.
Using Sortwave
Sortwave helps you review and organize music in accounts and libraries you control. You are responsible for reviewing queued actions before syncing them and for maintaining any backups you consider necessary.
Music services
Apple Music and Spotify access, playback, subscriptions, availability, library behavior, and account services are provided by their respective companies and remain subject to their terms. Sortwave is independent and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Apple or Spotify.
Deleted Songs staging
Because MusicKit does not allow Sortwave to directly delete arbitrary songs from your library, removal candidates are placed in a Deleted Songs — Sortwave playlist. You decide whether to delete those songs in Apple Music. Review the playlist carefully before taking a destructive action.
Availability and warranties
The app is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Features that depend on Apple Music, network access, operating-system behavior, or third-party services may change or become unavailable.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the developer is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, loss of data, loss of playlists, service interruption, or account changes arising from use of the app or third-party music services. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
Acceptable use
Do not misuse the app, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, or use it in violation of applicable law or the rights of others.
Changes
These terms may be updated when the app or applicable requirements change. The effective date above will be revised when material changes are published.
